The Collective

A multi-arts reflective practice

The Practice

The Collective is a multi-arts reflective practice that brings together image, writing, sound and quiet reflection within a gently held, non-clinical space. The Collective moves between forms, allowing different ways of noticing and meaning-making to emerge over time. Some sessions may lean to more visual, and others more reflective or embodied forms. The emphasis is not on producing anything, but on paying attention to what takes shape through the process.

The Collective is offered both in one-to-one sessions and in small groups and series, including the Motherhood Series - a multi-arts reflective series for mothers held over several sessions.

The Collective offers:

  • A spacious, non-interventive container for reflection

  • A way of working that is not bound to one medium

  • Time to notice, listen and explore without pressure to explain or resolve

  • A gentle complement to more verbal or analytical forms of support

This is not therapy or coaching. It is a creative, reflective practice shaped around presence, attention and gradual integration..

Who This is For

The Collective may suit you if you:

  • Are drawn to working across more than one creative form

  • Feel limited by purely verbal reflection

  • Want space to explore experience without needing to fix or solve it

  • Are already in therapy and want a non-clinical, creative adjunct

  • Are curious about what can emerge through image, making, sound or writing.

No artistic skill or experience is needed.

The Process

Sessions are lightly guided and unhurried. You may be invited to work with simple materials, images or prompts, or to spend time in quiet reflection. There is no expectation to perform or to produce a particular outcome.

While emotions may be present and are held with care, this work does not involve emotional or trauma processing. The focus is on reflection, creative enquiry and meaning-making.

Pathways

The Collective is offered in two forms:

  • Harmonics Creative Collective sessions

    Individual Sessions

One-to-one multi-arts reflective sessions held in a calm, non-clinical space. These sessions offer time for listening, noticing, and creative enquiry using image, writing, sound and quiet reflection.

  • Groups and Series

    The Motherhood Series

A small group, multi-arts reflective series for mothers, offered periodically within The Collective. These are gently held, multi-arts reflective spaces that unfold over several modules.
